Organization for Grassroots Sport Development (OGSD) was incorporated in Nigeria in 2012 after the founder, Comrade Raji Dimeji’s tenure as the president of the National Association of Games and Sports Teachers NAPSGAST in the same year.

NAPSGAST was also founded by the same Comrade Dimeji. It is instructive to note that OGSD specializes in grassroots sports in Nigeria as its activities ranges from the 11-14 through the 14-18 male and female sport competitions.


Aims and Objectives

  • To foster unity among it's members.
  • Collaborating with government, corporate bodies and other relevant agencies to develop and promote sport in Nigeria.
  • Encouraging and promoting schools sports so as to discourage the student/pupils from participating in societal crimes &drug abuse.
  • Discovering and nurturing the hidden talents at the grassroot.


   Sport and physical education is fundamental to the early development of children and youth and the skills learned during play, physical education and sport contribute to the holistic development of young people

Oduduwa Under 15 Male & female Soccer Competition

Deadline for registration is May 9, 2013 Entries are requested for the Oduduwa under 15 soccer competition for local Government in the South west of Nigeria. The date is May 20 through 27, 2013 to commemorate the children day celebration in Nigeria. The weight of the intending players should not be more than 58kg with a height of 1.65
